    Sinopsis
    Basado en la serie de doce libros infantiles escrita por Darren Shan.

    Darren (Chris Massoglia) tiene 14 años y se parece a la mayoría de los críos de su barrio residencial. Pasa mucho tiempo con su mejor amigo, saca buenas notas y no suele meterse en líos. Pero el destino ha querido que un circo ambulante se cruce con Darren y con su amigo, y algo empieza a cambiar dentro de él. A partir de ese momento, un vampiro llamado Larten Crepsley (John C. Reilly) le convierte en algo, digamos, sanguinario.
    Este recién no muerto se une al Cirque du Freak, un espectáculo ambulante poblado de criaturas monstruosas, entre las que hay un chico serpiente, un hombre lobo y una mujer barbuda (Salma Hayek), encabezadas por un gigantesco voceador (Ken Watanabe). Mientras Darren aprende a usar sus nuevos poderes en el oscuro mundo, se convierte en una importante pieza para los vampiros y sus temibles enemigos. Además de intentar sobrevivir, el adolescente deberá luchar para que la guerra entre los dos bandos no devore lo que queda del mundo de los vivos.

    Sinopsis
    ¿En qué estaba pensando Mark Whitacre? De medrar en el gigante de la industria agrícola Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Whitacre (Matt Damon) pasa de repente a denunciar prácticas corruptas en su empresa. Mientras informa al FBI de la conspiración de su empresa para fijar precios a nivel multinacional, Whitacre se contempla a sí mismo aclamado como héroe y objeto de un ascenso. Pero antes de que suceda eso, el FBI necesita pruebas, así Whitacre se presta con entusiasmo a llevar una grabadora oculta en su maletín, y se imagina que es algo así como una especie de agente secreto.
    Desafortunadamente para el FBI, su testigo principal no ha sido muy comunicativo respecto a los detalles financieros de la empresa. El relato siempre cambiante de Whitacre frustra a los agentes (Scott Bakula y Joel McHale) y pone en riesgo el caso contra ADM, ya que resulta casi imposible descifrar lo que es verdad y lo que es fruto de la gran imaginación de Whitacre.

Connor se burla del romance, lo cual no le gusta mucho a su hermano menor, Paul, ni a ninguno de los invitados q
    Connor Mead (Matthew McConaughey), fotógrafo de famosos, adora su libertad, la diversión y las mujeres …. en ese orden. Soltero empedernido, con una estricta política de no tener ninguna atadura, no lo piensa dos veces a la hora de terminar las relaciones que tiene con varias mujeres a la vez a través de una llamada en conferencia, al tiempo que va preparando su estrategia para su próxima cita.
    Paul, el hermano de Connor, es más bien el tipo romántico. De hecho, tiene planes de boda. Desafortunadamente, la noche antes del gran evento, Connor y su actitud sarcástica ante el romance sirvió para desanimar totalmente a Paul, los preparativos de la fiesta y a otros muchos amigos, incluyendo a Jenny (Jennifer Garner), amiga de la infancia de Connor y quien siempre ha permanecido inmune a su considerable encanto.
    Justamente cuando todo parece indicar que Connor va a lograr por sí solo arruinar la boda, recibe una llamada de aviso del fantasma de su tío Wayne (Michael Douglas), legendario playboy amante de las fiestas y de las mujeres, cuyas proezas han servido de ejemplo para Connor. El tío Wayne trae un mensaje urgente para su pupilo, un mensaje que le entrega a través de los fantasmas de todas las novias que Connor ha dejado plantadas, del presente, pasado y futuro, y que lo llevarán a través de una reveladora y desternillante odisea por una larga cadena de relaciones fallidas.
